India's possibility to qualify in the Final of Asia Cup, All Scenarios explained

Team India faced a massive setback by facing two continuous defeats against Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup, 2022 which made India's way too difficult to proceed further in this tournament.

India beat Pakistan and Hong Kong in the group stage to qualify for the Super 4 stage. But the form of the team, especially the bowlers fell drastically in this stage, costing two successive defeats.

India took on Sri Lanka on Tuesday in the second match of the Super 4. But Bhubaneswar Kumar's ineffective bowling in the death overs put the match in Sri Lanka's favour. India put up a score of 173 which Sri Lanka chased down with 6 wickets in hand. The match became a thriller in the last few overs but captain Dashun Shanaka and Bhanuka Rajapaksa took their team over the victory line.

Now India is at the edge of getting knocked out of this tournament. But there is an outside chance by which India still can qualify for the finals of the Asia Cup.

All the scenarios are given following that can help the blues to qualify for the grand finale.

India's possibility to qualify for the final will come to an end if Babar Azam-led Pakistan beat Afghanistan in Wednesday's encounter. India needs Pakistan to be beaten by both Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

Sri Lanka:

The island country has already secured its place in the final after its consecutive two wins. India needs Sri Lanka to beat Pakistan by a big margin now.

India will face the Afghans as their last opponent in the Super 4 stage. India must win that game but before that India needs Afghanistan to win against Pakistan by a big margin.
