"KAPTAN MAIN HUN…"- Babar Azam's hilarious incident in Asia Cup Match

A bit of confusion happened in the middle of the Pakistan vs Sri Lanka match in the Super 4 stage of the Asia cup when Umpire signaled for a DRS check without Pakistan captain Babar Azam's confirmation.

It was the last match of the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup in which Pakistan collided with Sri Lanka in a dead rubber as both the teams had already qualified for the final.

It was a dress rehearsal for the final match as both teams will take the field to secure the reign of Asia on Sunday evening. Both the teams fought hard but Sri Lanka managed to seize the win.

After getting all out on 121 Pakistan started all with the ball and picked up two quick wickets. But a comic scene happened on the 15th over.

Hasan Ali bowled a short one which passed the batter Dashun Shanaka's bat and went straight to wicketkeeper Md. Rizwan's gloves. The keeper thought that the batter had nicked the ball and went for appeal. But the umpire said not out.

After a bit of time, the discussion between the Pakistan players and the umpire signaled for the DRS. Eventually, the Pakistan captain Baba Azam was seen waking to the umpire mouthing, " Kaptan Main Hun (I am the captain)".

However , it was seen that the ball didn't touch Shanaka's bat and the decision of the umpire remained the same and Pakistan lost their review.

Shanaka was out the next over, but Pathum Nissanka hit 10 runs off the last three deliveries to ensure Sri Lanka got over the line with three overs to spare. Now both the teams will clash for the final time in this tournament on Sunday to claim the reign of the continental trophy.
